Did you know the church burns the evidence?
"The sun burnt every day. It burnt Time. The world rushed in a circle and turned on its axis and time was busy burning the years and the people anyway, without any help from him. So if he burnt things with the firemen and the sun burnt Time, that meant that everything burnt!"
- Ray Bradbury, Fahrenheit 451, Part 3
Did you know the church was turned down by the city of Los Angeles for a burning permit? It did, however, get one from the City of Pasadena. Do you know what they were burning? Our books... the evidence in other words, hiding the changes they had made as recently as two years ago. Call the city of Pasadena, speak with the city clerk and see for yourself.
Why burn books unless you have something to hide such as alterations to a workable technology? Omissions of the data trail are the hardest thing to find when doing an evaluation per Ron in the Data Series PL's. If the original books aren't there, someone seems to think the overt of omission after the overt of committing radical changes to the tech will work.
Thankfully, we have the internet for file sharing and Ebay, as well as many other excellent used book sites to find these remaining rare books.

bpranaMy stomach churned as I read this.
This used to be my Org (Pasa)
If ever I doubted my alliance with the Independents... that doubt is now and forever gone.
Any sane being would have kept the books for posterity.
These are dark times, my friends...
I'm continuing my way up the Bridge ASAP.
